The Endowment Board consists of 6 dedicated, passionate parishioners and, as put forth in the by-laws, there is a Board seat for the current St. Bernadette Pastor. All members have equal voice in the mission and giving of Endowment.

History

The St. Bernadette Caritas Society Endowment Fund was established in 2005 to operate as a charitable foundation and endowment corporation for the purpose of supporting the St. Bernadette Church and St. Bernadette School of Westlake, Ohio. Recognizing the benefits, value and ministry of maintaining access to a solid Catholic grade school education for the preservation of the faith, a primary focus of the Endowment has been supporting the St. Bernadette School. Significant donations have been made to support the school, the parish, and the mission of the Endowment Fund. Donations and disbursements are handled by the Endowment Fund in accordance with the intentions of the donors where signified, and with the sound discretion of the Board in all instances. The Endowment is independent of Diocesan and Parish control by design, and operated for the benefit of the Church and School, in all instances.
