Our Impact

Since its inception, the St. Bernadette Caritas Society Endowment Fund has contributed over $1,600,000 in support of St. Bernadette Parish and School.

Some of our major grants include the following:

2010-2023

Over $200,000 in grants made to fund partial or full salaries and benefits for teachers as requested by the Parish office.

2005-2023

More than $900,000 granted in financial aid to St. Bernadette Parish to offset the cost of Catholic education. On average $50,000/year in tuition support granted to the Parish since 2006.

2022

$44,000 granted to provide furnishings and updated technology in the renovated Innovation Center.

2020

Provided new apple laptops for approximately 12 teachers, at the cost of $13,600.

2019-2022

Paid for the cost (~$5,000) of an outside marketing firm to assist in rebranding, including changes to the school logo, marketing materials, and website.

2015

Contributed $115,000 for the renovation of the school kitchen.

2014

$24,000 in grants paid to offset the costs of creating a new Cry Room for the Church and refurbishing the floors in the Parish Activity Center.

2012

Fully funded the conversion of a former school space to the current preschool at a price of nearly $150,000.

2012

Granted $7,800 towards the addition of a new sound system in the Church to provide a better mass environment for all in attendance, including additional accommodations for those with specific needs.

2024-2025

Contributed over $45,000 toward Catholic initiatives for the the school including: funding 6th, 7th and 8th grade overnight retreats at Damascus, providing personal Bibles for all Junior High students, supporting Theology of the Body classroom instruction, and assisting with updates to the Good Shepard Room.
